Timeline

With its establishment in 1964 Mazna Holdings has a long and rich history. To give you an insight to our rich history, here are some of the major events:

1964 - today

Establishment

Mazna Holdings Ltd. was established by Moshe Sofer in 1964. The name being an acronym of Moshe and his nearest family members. The company started as a shareholder in Denisra International Ltd. and was an active shareholder until 2011. Amongst Denisra's projects was Gilat Satelitte Headquarter in Petah Tikva, Israel. A total of 71.000m2 offices.

1998 - 2001

Bucharest Airport Hotel

Together with Romanian American Enterprise Fund and East Fund Mmanagement, the development, construction, and management of the first airport hotel in Romania, at Otopeni Airport.

The hotel contained 106 rooms and 3.000 m2 offices and was later converted to 186 rooms.

Was sold in august 2007 and now part of Wyndhamhotels.

2007 - 2008

Radisson Blu Belgrade

As part of Prigan Holdings Ltd., developed the conversion of an old mill (built in 2003 – 2004) to a 236 rooms hotel and 5.700 m2 office space.

Sold to Soravia Fund (Austria) in November 2008.

2008 - today

Establishment of P&S Scandinavia

Together with Peterburg Holding, Mazna in 2008 purchased a portfolio in Kalmar Län in Sweden which today comprises of about 40.000m2 of real estate and is continously being renovated and upgraded.

2015 - 2020

Railway Station Zadar, Croatia

The conversion of an old railway station into a commercial center consists of McDonald’s and Billa (part of Rewe Germany).

Sold in 2020.

2020 - today

Windspace Croatia

A Joint venture with Windspace of Denmark for the development of large solar and wind projects in Croatia. Projects are on-going in various stages and in different geographical areas in Croatia.

2021 - today

Establishment Denmark

Since 2021 Mazna Holdings has increased its activites in Denmark through P&S Scandinavia. In 2022 the first Byggmax store was opened in Vejle. Several more projects are currently in the pipeline and expected to start construction during 2025 and 2026.
